Terry Gaskins

Terry Gaskins is a painter and photographer living in New Orleans. She has lived in Chicago since Hurricane Katrina struck but will be returning to the Big Easy in March to sell her work in the infamous Pirates Alley. Terry graduated from Columbia College in Chicago with a BA in fine art photography. She became a self -taught painter after moving South.

In 2000, she received a Business of the Year award from the Illinois Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce. Terry's work has been published in books, newspapers and magazines across the United States. People from all over the world have collected her work, which is also on permenent collection at the Gerber Hart Library in Chicago and the Leslie-Lohman Gallery in New York.
